Moretti (Effetre) Colored Glass Rods, Stingers, Strips & Millefiori
The real name of Moretti glass is actually Effetre. It was known for so long as Moretti that most people still refer to the glass as Moretti. Moretti "soft" rods are usually sold by the pound (6 to 8 rods to the pound). They are 39-40" long and 5 to 6 mm thick. We cut and offer them as 13" rods, selling them individually rather than by the pound. On any order for more than 20 rods, we will ship them all as the full 39" rod if so requested in the "comments" section. Moretti rods have a temperature coefficient (COE) of 104.
NOTE: Some colors, before heating, will have a different color after it is heated in a flame and then cooled. The new color is called the "striking" color. There are only five of these and they are listed these at the top of top of the section in which they appear.
