8. Inland Pencil Style -- 8 votes
TOTAL VOTES ------------555 votes

In our opinion, the Gryphon Pistol Grip won this poll hands down (Actuall, it is hard to cut glass with your hands up).

"Why" you ask? The Toyo line has been around over ten years, and they have been the industry leader most of the time. The Gryphon Pistol Grip Cutter has been around less than a year. It has, however, been heavily demonstrated and audience-tested in some retail stores and at the recent AGSA in Nashville. In either case, many of you now know of this cutter, and have fallen in love with it in a very short period of time.

That's our opinion. What's yours?

Results:
1. Picking the glass -- 144 votes
2. Cutting the glass -- 97 votes

TOTAL VOTES-------------442 votes

We figured that soldering would be the picked "the most difficult", only because it seems to be the most difficult part for students to learn. Never figured that picking the glass was, but YOU have spoken! Hopefully, glass instructors, including us at Stained Glass Warehouse, will learn something from this.

Which soldering iron do you like the best?
Poll of 11/19/02 to 12/18/02

Results:
1. Weller 100Watt Iron-------------------186 votes
2. The Economy 100 Watt Iron------------63 votes
3. Any Hakko Iron----------------------58 votes
4. Inland Temp-Trol 100W Iron---------30 votes
5. Inland Studio Pro-----------------22 votes
6. Inland Deluxe Iron-------------19 votes
7. Inland Standard Iron----------8 votes
8. Any Hexacon Iron-------------7 votes

We are not surprised that the Weller 100W won out -- only that the margin was so high. The second place winner, however, did surprise us. The Economy 100W Iron is best suited for copper foil, and is inexpensive. In spite of this, it placed better than we expected. Those that use are apparentely great fans of this product.
