This is our best selling soldering iron for over $50! Suitable for all types of stained glass work. The Weller 100 has a patented temperature control built into the tip of the iron. The iron comes with a controlled 3/8", 700 degree tip, but additional tips are available below for 600, 700 and 800 degrees. Regardless of this feature, using a rheostat with this or any iron is recommended. It's easier to adjust the temperature with a rheostat when needed than to change the tip. 6 foot cord, 120 volts.

For general stained glass purposes, the 700 degree tip is fine. For more delicate work and decorative soldering, the 600 degree tip will probably serve you better. The 800 degree tip is great for needs with a LOT of heat (hard metals -- zinc, brass, etc, and for restoration work). All three with various sizes are listed below.
